Microchip BCD & Binary A/D

BCD & Binary A/D

High-precision, low-power, monolithic CMOS 3½ digit Binary-Coded Decimal (BCD) and binary Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) can be used for the accurate representation of decimal numbers and their conversions in a variety of high-performance applications. They provide industry-standard interfaces and pinouts for use in sensor interfaces, process controls, panel meters, instrumentation and other designs.

Highlights
The BCD ADCs combine both analog and digital circuits on a single IC to minimize the number of external components required in space-constrained applications
The binary ADCs combine a chopper-stabilized buffer and integration techniques that increase conversion speed up to 16 times faster than previous 15-bit, monolithic integrating ADCs for applications where faster a conversion speed is especially important
