Clearwater, FL — January 1, 2025 — In response to the escalating tariffs imposed on certain imported Chinese goods under Section 301, NAC has implemented amended its policy to address the impact of these additional costs on our pricing structure. This policy reflects our commitment to balancing economic realities with customer value.
Policy Overview: As a result of the increased tariffs, manufactured product with a country of origin of China are expected to experience significant cost increases in sourcing and production. As far as NAC’s product lines are concerned the increase was only applied to Semiconductor products within the 8541 and 8542 Harmonized Tariff Code (HTS Code) categories. This will increase the tariff rate from 25% to 50% for products invoiced after Jan 1st, 2025.
To ensure business sustainability and the continued delivery of high-quality products and services, we will be adjusting our pricing in the following ways:
Commitment to Quality and Service: Despite the challenges posed by these tariffs, NAC remains dedicated to maintaining the quality and reliability our customers expect. We will continue to explore alternative sourcing options and cost-saving measures to reduce the long-term impact of tariffs.
